Distribute literature, posters for clinics
Schedule/confirm appointments for clinics
Perform follow up communications with clinic clients
Assist with registration or discharge activities at our clinic
in:
CREATIVE & ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES
Manage our mailings – collating, labeling, organizing materials
Retrieve hotline messages and route them to the program manager
Perform data entry or web research
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Act as a coach for community service programs including trapping homeless cats.
Participate in trapping homeless cats.
Provide counseling and guidance for people with pet issues, directing them to
available resources (shelter partners, Animal Control Officers, etc.)
Become a foster home for cats in need of support while in transition to their new homes.
PUBLIC OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
Write PSAs to community media outlets (newspapers, TV, radio,
etc.)
Attend community events such as Pet Rock, spay/neuter
Info Days at pet supply stores, and SCFAW fundraisers to provide information
about SCFAW programs and guidance to the public-at-large
Help the public meet adoptable cats at our adoptathons.
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
Participate in our semi-annual flowering plants sales drives;
sell, deliver, or assist in managing the program
Assist in planning / help at our fundraising events.
