"We can't say enough about the SCFAW team members and their commitment to the very worthy cause of reducing cat over-population through spay/neuter services. Their passion for animals shines through whenever you talk with them! My husband and I have adopted three cats through the organization and received medical assistance for one of our dogs. We cannot thank you enough on behalf of my family, my menagerie, and the community as a whole!"

Public Education Services

Please contact us to arrange for a SCFAW volunteer to give an educational talk or participate in a discussion about SCFAW or any of the services we offer, including the importance of spay/neutering pets. We make appearances at no charge at schools, houses of worship, civic groups or other organizations, and we would welcome your help in spreading the word. Email or phone our hotline at 978-779-8287.

Spay/Neuter Info Days

SCFAW hosts information tables at various locations in Central Massachusetts. We also participate from late spring through the autumn holidays in major festivals, such as Pet Rock Fest, civic days, and other events.

As part of our Spay/Neuter Info Program, our volunteers are prepared to:

  • Spread the word on the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering pets
  • Provide coaching on animal issues
  • Distribute literature
  • Discuss the programs we offer

We also sell SCFAW merchandise featuring our adorable mascot "Scratch", including tee-shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags. To purchase one of these items directly, email or phone us (978)779-8287.

Our calendar shows where and when we are hosting info booths.  If you would like us to participate in an event that you are holding or just want more information on our info booths, please email or phone us at (978)779-8287.
