"I'm Animal Friendly" License Plates

 

The Massachusetts "I'm Animal Friendly" license plate tells your community that you care about animals! This program is a cooperative arrangement between the Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC) and the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). By purchasing this license plate, you will be contributing to a statewide spay/neuter funding program that directly benefits Massachusetts animals. SCFAW has been a recipient of funding through this program for several years.

Order Your Plate 

You can order your license plate online by visiting the MAC website or at any full-service branch of the RMV. The initial cost of an "I'm Animal Friendly" license plate is $40, $28 of which will be used to help fund this statewide spay/neuter program. The remaining $12 is a one-time only cost to cover the manufacturing of the plate. Upon renewal, the entire $40 will go to this spay/neuter program. (The standard registration fee is due every two years upon renewal in addition to the "I'm Animal Friendly" license plate fee.)

MAC is a statewide, nonprofit organization comprising animal welfare and control professionals and individual volunteers dedicated to working together to reduce the number of homeless, neglected, displaced, and abused animals in Massachusetts. MAC accomplishes this goal by promoting collaboration and respect, improving ongoing education programs, and encouraging responsible and humane animal care.
